Cape Cod has been my home away from home for more than 40 years. I feel my best when I am there. So many memories from my childhood, my boys childhood, my Step Dad , my Grandparents. It is good for my soul.

Frankie and her family moved from Kirkwood to Chatham a few years ago. We are both Kirkwood/Cape girls and I was so excited to spend a day with her at my favorite local spot, SESUIT HARBOR. All things Cape Cod! Seafood, Hydrangeas, Ice Cream and the beach.

Every year we go to Cape Cod. Every year I bring my camera to photograph my children (now that they are older, it is really the only time of year I photograph them—unless it is their sports photography-which is when they love having a photographer for a mom.

This is what life is like with 2 teenage boys that hate my camera.

But, I am still posting them on-line—-so who is the winner now, boys?????

Sam | Cape Cod Photographer | Hyannis port

I've been photographing Sam every summer since 2014 in Hyannis port, Mass. He is my buddy and I look forward to it each year! We spent the night cruising in his 1957 Chevy Continental, visiting Squaw beach, and Hyannis port Pier. His family has the tradition of vacationing on the Cape each summer and I am so lucky to be able to capture these moments for them.

My friend, Stephanie, and I took a trip to Cape Cod so I could do a little work (will post those soon). We spent a day on the island of Nantucket, exploring on our mopeds, found a foot trail along the coast, saw the 2nd oldest lighthouse in the U.S., and all of the immaculately landscaped-wood shingled homes in Siasconset.
